SEATTLE, WASHINGTON (SEPTEMBER 22, 2017) – The Northwest Mountain Minority Supplier Development Council (MSDC) congratulates the winners and nominees for the 2017 King County Executive’s Small Business Awards, held last Thursday.

Woodinville based Council certified MBE, Land Development Consultants, Inc. (LDC, Inc.) received the Minority Small Business of the Year award. 

Other Council certified MBEs vied as finalists for two awards: Trio Group for Minority Small Business of the Year award and Magellan Architects for Small Business of the Year award.

King County hosted the sixth annual county wide awards program to recognize the outstanding achievement of 28 awards finalists.  Seven awards were presented to small businesses, including Rural Small Business of the Year (Keep It Simple Farm, Redmond), Exporting Small Business of the Year (Industrial Revolution, Tukwila), Workforce Development Small Business of the Year (Falco Sult and Company (Redmond), Minority Small Business of the Year (LDC, Inc., Woodinville), Woman Small Business of the Year (Evia, Redmond), Green/Sustainable Business of the Year (Pacific Rim Environmental, Tukwila) and Small Business of the Year (Rain City Cathering, Renton).

The Northwest Mountain MSDC supported the 2017 King County Executive’s Small Business Awards as an Award Partner.
