MBE Sales Development Workshop|  May 17, 2016  | 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Mark Carter, VP of Sales Northwest for Cintas Corporation will conduct “Selling the Cintas Way” – a minority business enterprise (MBE) sales development training workshop in Tukwila, WA.  A subject matter expert on strategic selling, Carter has a proven track record, having worked for Cintas for eighteen years and received top sales performance awards, including Presidents Club fourteen times and #1 Team of the Year six times.

Carter began his career at Cintas as Management Trainee and held positions as Uniform & FS Sales Representative, Market Sales Manager and Director of Sales.  He holds a degree from Tulane University A.B. Freeman School of Business.

Presented by Cintas Corporation in cooperation with National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) affiliates, the workshop is conducted annually as part of MBE development and supports the four NMSDC pillars: certify, develop, connect and advocate.

Registration is open to NMSDC-Certified MBEs in good standing and is recommended for MBE owners, Sales Managers, Sales Executives, Marketing Managers and any role that directly deals with sales, prospecting, lead generation and customer relations management.  Any sales professional employed with a minority-owned business can benefit from the workshop which is focused on updated techniques in developing an efficient sales strategy which includes effective communications, managing the sales cycle, negotiating and closing deals, edging out the competition and creating opportunities for growth.

The Northwest Mountain MSDC will host “Selling the Cintas Way” on Tuesday, May 17th at the Southcenter Corporate Square Conference Room in Tukwila, Washington.  The registration fee is $35.00 per participant.  Last day to register is Monday, May 16th.
