Upcoming Opportunities Workshop for Professional Consultants

City of Seattle capital departments are hosting a Feb. 21 workshop to provide architecture, engineering, landscape architecture, surveying, environmental services, and related services consultants with information about upcoming opportunities to do business with City departments. 
 
The workshop will be held in the Bertha Knight Landes Room at Seattle City Hall, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Contract Managers will present information on upcoming City of Seattle projects. There will be time to network with contract managers and other consultants. 
 
Due to room size, advance registration is requested to guarantee admittance. Registration will also help develop a distribution list for future events. 

Among the topics that will be covered in this workshop are:

  • Networking and upcoming professional services projects.
  • Women and minority-owned business inclusion plans.
  • City of Seattle contracting process changes and trends. 

All questions asked during the General Q&A portions of the workshop will be recorded and published.

The work involves demolishing the Alaskan Way Viaduct, decommissioning and sealing the Battery Street Tunnel, and rebuilding three blocks of Aurora Avenue North. Minority, small, veteran and women's business enterprise (MSVWBE) firms are encouraged to meet and network with the four shortlisted proposers for the project.

AT&T Mobility Operations Support Team (MOST) and the AT&T Supplier Diversity team are hosting a webcast information session for suppliers.  Learn about opportunities, qualifications, and requirements and address any questions as we begin the process to negotiate a new Supplier General Agreement for mobility support services in 2018. 

The team is currently seeking suppliers who can perform the following cellular tower services:

HVAC | Electrical | Generator | Landscaping | Fire Suppression | General Maintenance | DAS | Batteries | Tower Repair | Pest Control

 

Supplier Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience or comparable certification
  • Ability to service all standard AT&T OEM Generator Equipment(s) - (Kohler, Generac)
  • Sufficient work force to self-perform
  • Minimum 5-10 crews to be competitive in volume bids
  • Drug screening
  • Provide Service referrals/references
