Info Sessions

SUPPLIER DIVERSITY + SUSTAINABILITY

Information Sessions are led by industry leaders and subject matter experts.  Every year, the Northwest Mountain MSDC hosts three concurrent Information Sessions during the Annual Conference.  We invite three to four panel members for each panel, with moderators well-versed in the topics they are asked to facilitate.  The sessions begin with brief presentations, followed by an open forum or Q&A.  The Information Sessions at the 2018 Annual Conference are from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM.  Room assignments at the HUB will be provided prior to the conference with a complete list of panelists and moderators.  Please stay tuned for updates on the 2018 Annual Conference.

Informational Round Tables

In addition to One-on-One Business Engagement Sessions, Informational Round Tables are a great way to connect, learn and network.

Informational Round Tables are small group discussions between corporate/public agency members and certified MBEs.  Each table will have 8 – 10 participants.  There will be 1-2 corporate/public agency members seated at each table to share information with, and answer questions from MBEs.

There will be a set of two 40-minute rounds.  The first round is from 2:00 PM – 2:40 PM, followed by a 10 minute break.  The 2nd Round is from 2:50 PM – 3:30 PM.  There will be multiple discussion groups for each round.

The discussions will follow a flexible format for information and resource gathering to maximize engagement and development.

More updates coming soon.

Plan ahead: MBEs are encouraged to register now and sign up for One-on-One Business Engagement Sessions.

Early MBE registration allows the Council more time to promote participating MBEs and invite corporate members within and beyond our region.  In addition, it gives supplier diversity executives more time to coordinate with their sourcing/procurement teams.
