ONE-ON-ONE BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS


What are One-on-One Business Engagement Sessions?

One-on-One Business Engagement Sessions are specifically designed to match Certified MBEs with opportunities from Corporate/Public Agency Members.  

  • Face-to-face meetings between Corporate/Public Agency Members and selected MBEs
  • Each meeting lasts 15 minutes
  • Depending on the number of matches, each Corporate/Public Agency Member or MBE can have up to 8 meetings in one afternoon
  • The meetings are coordinated in advance by Northwest Mountain MSDC
  • Only available to Corporate/Public Agency Members and MBEs certified through the Northwest Mountain MSDC or other NMSDC affiliates/councils
  • Registration to the 2018 Annual Conference is required*

*Registration does not guarantee participation in One-on-One Business Engagement Sessions.  To participate in One-on-One Business Engagement Sessions, MBEs must be selected by Corporate/Public Agency Members.  One-on-One meetings do not guarantee contractual agreement with Corporate/Public Agency Members.  Failure to appear in One-on-One meetings forfeits meeting schedule and does not entail rescheduling.  Please notify the Council A.S.A.P. for any changes to your availability.

how to participate

(CERTIFIED MBE)

How to Participate (MBEs):

You must have a valid MBE certification from the Northwest Mountain MSDC or any NMSDC affiliate/council.

  • Register for the 2018 Annual Conference*
  • After registration, you will receive an email from the Council with login information to the Business Engagement Tool
  • Login to the Business Engagement Tool and complete the form to generate your enhanced MBE profile
  • Your enhanced MBE profile will be sent to Corporate/Public Agency Members for review
  • You will be notified if you have been selected by one or more Corporate/Public Agency Members
  • If selected, the Northwest Mountain MSDC will coordinate your meeting schedule
  • Final meeting schedules will be available at the 2018 Annual Conference
  • Save the date: June 12, 2018
  • 2018 Annual Conference is from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • One-on-One Business Engagement Session are from 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM

How to Participate (Corporate/Public Agency Members):

You must be a Corporate/Public Agency Member of Northwest Mountain MSDC or NMSDC.

  • Register for the 2018 Annual Conference*
  • You will receive an email from the Council with login information to the Business Engagement Tool
  • Use the Business Engagement Tool to review MBE profiles and select MBEs you deem qualified to meet at the One-on-One Business Engagement Sessions
  • The Northwest Mountain MSDC will coordinate your meeting schedule
  • Final meeting schedules will be available at the 2018 Annual Conference
  • Save the date: June 12, 2018
  • 2018 Annual Conference is from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • One-on-One Business Engagement Session are from 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM

The matching process is simply based on: Supply (from Certified MBEs) matching Demand (from Corporate/Public Agency Members).
