A day after the Business Conference and Opportunity Fair, the Northwest Mountain MSDC is again hosting an exciting event: The 2015 Awards Dinner and Silent Auction.
The evening kicks off at 5 p.m. with the silent auction and a networking reception. Proceeds of the silent auction go to the Council’s scholarship fund, which awards around $20,000 annually to MBEs for participation in two nationally recognized minority business executive programs, Council events, conferences, customized training, and National MSDC events.
“The silent auction contributes to the growth, development and education of our MBEs. Education is critical to our MBEs’ continuous development and improvement of their skills as well as introducing new concepts to help improve their business,” said Fernando Martinez, Council president and CEO. “This also facilitates our corporate members’ participating with their sponsorship.”
Members and MBEs themselves will also be in the spotlight, as the Council will present seven recognitions. The honors will be given to: National Corporation of the Year; Regional Corporation of the Year; Agency of the Year; and Class 1, II, III, and IV Suppliers of the Year.
