Council Events in February & March

The Northwest Mountain MSDC has several exciting events planned for the first quarter of the year. Mark your calendars for Thursday and Friday, March 12 and 13—the 2015 Northwest Mountain MSDC Annual Business Conference and Awards Dinner: “Creating Value Through Supplier Diversity” takes place at the Hilton Bellevue Hotel.

The two-day event kicks off with the March 12 Business Conference, consisting of tradeshows, a keynote luncheon, industry roundtables, and a reception. The Awards Dinner, the following day, features a silent auction and a message from Council President & CEO Fernando Martinez. Invitations and registration information to follow.

A smaller but just as important event takes place on Thursday, Feb. 5. Nguyen Tang, the Council’s manager of MBE and certification services, will run the monthly MBE Pre-Certification Orientation. The free event is for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) that are interested in obtaining Council MBE certification; Tang will provide information on certification requirements, timeline, and benefits.
