18th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser & Silent Auction

The Northwest Mountain Minority Supplier Development Council (MSDC) will hosts its 18th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser & Silent Auction on August 26th. By enjoying a game of golf and networking, participants support minority business enterprises (MBEs). Proceeds from the event will fund educational opportunities for those businesses.

This Scholarship Fundraiser is vital in supporting the Council's mission to develop education opportunities for MBEs and corporate members. "Our MBEs win, our corporate members benefit from the opportunity to work with well-educated and well-trained MBEs, and well-educated and well-trained MBEs, and we benefit because we manage the process of engagement,” Martinez said. MBEs can receive scholarship funds to attend minority executive programs offered by two prestigious business schools across the country; participate in Northwest Mountain MSDC’s events and conferences throughout the year; or travel to the annual National MSDC Conference.

This year, the fundraiser will take place at the gorgeous China Creek in Newcastle, Washington. More than 300 MBEs and 100 corporate members have been invited to the fundraiser. The Council is seeking donations for the silent auction as well as event sponsors.

“The Scholarship Fundraiser enables us to help all of our stakeholders,” Martinez said. Folks will be able to leverage the opportunity to have fun while we’re networking!
